World War Two German Luftwaffe General Officer visor cap. High quality dark blue - grey wool construction with mohair band, braided gold bullion piping, adjustable gold bullion chin cord secured with two magnetic gold pebbled buttons and vulcanfibre visor. Two piece hand applied gold bullion thread insignia of eagle over winged and wreathed cockade. Interior lined in gold silk / rayon with celluloid sweat diamond signed "EREL Sonderklasse" and leather sweat band. Excellent field worn condition with wear, out of form shape.
