World War Two German SS Officer Visor Cap. Constructed of tricot grey wool with black velvet band and white piping with silver bullion chin cord and black lacquered vulcanfibre visor. Cap with die struck SS insignia of eagle over death's head. Interior lined in gold silk / rayon with "59" size stamped in ink and leather sweat band with "Schitz" written in black ink. Good field worn condition, crown with scattered light mothing, interior with heavy wear and staining.
