SERIAL NUMBER 2447402 BARREL 5" CALIBER .45 ACP MANUFACTURED 1945. National Rifle Assn, sales Remington Rand 1911-A1 pistol with shipping box from Letterkenny Arsenal. These scarce pistols were sold through the NRA sales division and delivered through the Division of civilian marksmanship. Housed in its original numbers matching box with both National Rifle Assn, shipping and Letterkenny Arsenal shipping. Pistol is a parkerized Remington Rand with checkered brown plastic Keyes grips. H.S. marked barrel, Grooved arched mainspring housing, narrow checkered hammer, checkered safety lever and grooved slide release. S marked type 2 magazine . FJA inspected frame with "P" inspection on frame at magazine release and on top of slide. CONDITION, Excellent with nearly 99% parkerized finish remaining. Bright feed ramp and bright Ordnance wheel inspection. Bore is perfect and gun shows test firing and a little handling only. Box is good with excellent label. C&R
