WWI AUSTRO HUNGARIAN EMPIRE PORTRAIT OF GENERAL

Beautiful unsigned oil portrait of an Oberst General of the Imperial Austro Hungarian Empire. This General Officer wears an impressive grouping of medals. The neck order is the Hesse Order of Philip the Magnanimous Commander with Swords. Also from left to right is the Bavaria Merit Order of the Bavarian Crown, Nassau Order of Adolph and finally the Baden Order of the Zahringen Lion, all of the Knight level. The overall size of the portrait is 49 1/2" X 40" and is in excellent condition.
