WWI American Patriotic Baby Plate
This Baby Plate dates back to World War I, and is very patriotic. The little boy wears red and white striped pants and a blue shirt. In his left hand he carries an American Flag, and in his right hand he carries the lanyard to the toy cannon at his feet. The dish is old and worn and has a chip below one edge, crazing, and an old, shallow, crack. It is 7 1/2" in diameter, and 1 1/2" high. There is a blue stripe around the edge, which overlaps the interior to protect the food within. This may be a one of a kind piece.
