An excellent cased example of a highly desirable award; in silver gilt and enamels measuring 53.2mm (h) x 53.4mm (w) and weighing 16.7grams; marked 938 silver and J G for Jean Godet; a fine wartime produced cross of very good quality manufacture, with full length ribbon with ties; exhibiting period typical wear; overall of this cross displays pleasing toning and wear and remains in extremely fine condition with a rare set of Oak Leaves.
