Lot of 2 German Bayonets. (1) WWI German 98/05 Butcher bayonet. Single edged bright blade with fuller. Maker mark stamped on the ricasso, hardly readable since it has been mistakenly double stamped by the manufacturer. A crown above "W17" and other inspection marks are visible on the spine. Steel hilt with reversed hook quillon and wood grips. Unmarked steel scabbard. (1) WWII German K98 combat bayonet . Blued blade with fuller. Maker marked "Elite - Diamant" on one side of the ricasso and "2746 g" on the other. Number "39" stamped on the spine near the guard. Bakelite grips. Steel scabbard number "167", leather frog
Condition Report: Very good. Light oxidation on the 98/05 bayonet.
