A rare presentation copy of this poetry collection by Lady Celia Congreve, who served as a nurse for the British Field Hospital for Belgium, the Johnstone-Reckitt Hospital and for the French Red Cross during World War One, for which she was awarded the Croix de Guerre. Her husband Sir Walter Congreve also served; their son Billy died in action in 1916 and was awarded the Victoria Cross. A scarce and interesting collection of war poetry by a female poet. 16mo.
