WWI US SOLDIER'S LETTERS & PHOTOS PAPER ARCHIVE
Approximately 60 pieces of mail, photographs, and postcards from World War II, all addressed to an Edward Lang of Quincy, Massachusetts. The letters are signed from uncles and cousins who were all in service in France as part of the American Expeditionary Forces. The letters describe their time in service, and include photographs. Some are signed with the header "Somewhere in France" and span the combat period through the end of the war and subsequent occupation in France and Germany. This is a very well-preserved and documented archive of letters written home on YMCA and Knights of Columbus stationary. All show age, but are in good legible condition. Excellent
