WWI USMC TRENCH ART BLANKET W INDIANHEAD MEDALS

WWI USMC Trench Art, made from the center section of a Marine Corps Blanket. The decorative piece has a large side profile of an Indian Chief in multi-colored yarn. On the headdress of the Chief is a watch chain with the planchets of the soldiers Victory Medal and Croix de Guerre. Two each side are the battle honor streamers of the 2nd Division. The overall dimensions are 24 X 22 inches and is housed in a period leather folding case.†
