WWII Bulgarian "Brannik" Youth Knife. Bright blade with acid etched in Bulgarian Cyrillic "Duty and Honor" motto on one side and maker mark / logo on the other. Leather buffer pad present. Aluminum hilt and checkered grips with the Cyrillic "B" (Brannik) shield emblem of the organization. Black painted steel scabbard with leather strap. Designed like the German Hitler Youth knife. "Brannik" was a Hitlerjugend organization in Bulgaria established in 1941 equivalent to the German HJ. Blade Length: 5.5" Total Length: 10.5/8"
