WWII Discharge Folder with Insignia

World War II discharge folder containing materials belonging to John W. Charles, a Staff Sargent in Company H, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne. Paperwork contained in folder include early copies of Charles' discharge, two copies of his pay record, his immunization register, one small photograph of Charles in uniform measuring 3.5" x 2.5", his currency exchange book, and a small notepad detailing engagements, military record, friends, etc. Insignia included in folder include pinback jump wings with one jump star, pinback jump wings, pinback glider wings with one star, cloth jump wings with one metal star, combat infantry badge, and ribbon bars for a Presidential Unit Citation and Good Conduct medal.
