WWII Era Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi Automatic Rifle With Competition Sights .30-06 Caliber
This M1 Garand rifle was made by Springfield Armory in June 1944 and chambered in .30-06 caliber. The rifle features a competition style hooded front aperture sight on a 24" barrel marked SA with a 7-43 barrel date. The cut op rod and milled trigger guard assembly are SA marked. The receiver is fitted with an NM (National Match) marked rear aperture sight with the rear receiver marked "US Rifle Cal 30 M1 Springfield Armory". The walnut stock is marked with a CMP 3 star cartouche on the left side and Circle P stamp on the lower grip and fitted with a checkered butt plate that stores an M3A1 multi tool with chamber brush.
