SN 61383. 25" barrel bolt action 7.92x57mm rifle. Mauser banner and date 1933 on the receiver. Has German testing proof marks, Crown "U", "B," "N" and "N" indicating it was test fired and Nitro proofed in Germany. Floor plate and screws do not match SN of the gun. Military style Mauser K98 stock with sling attachments, unmarked metal butt plate, and bayonet lug. Action flawless. Age wear on the left side of receiver and bolt, finish approximately 85%. Floor plate has Nazi proof marks, receiver and bolt do not. Bore is very good - excellent with strong rifling. Stock is excellent. Very Good - Excellent overall*
