The front displays separately applied embroidered SS eagle and Totenkopf skull insignia, both executed in silver-gray thread on black backing. Interior is fully lined in gray cloth. A particularly recognizable form of German WWII SS headgear, with the officer-quality piping and contrasting insignia giving the cap a striking appearance.
