WWII German SS Insignia & Hilfspolizei Badge LOT
Assorted German Third Reich-era style uniform insignia and badges, including two black cloth tabs bearing embroidered SS runes, several numbered black collar tabs with applied metal numerals including 12, 2, and 5, a black tab embroidered with the numeral 1, and two dark blue/purple cloth tabs with silver aluminum-style embroidery and twisted piping. Also included is an oval green-backed Bergwacht Hilfspolizei badge displaying an eagle and swastika, with Tirol Vorarlberg and 1939 to the face and pin attachment on reverse. Several cloth pieces retain paper RZM-style labels on their reverses. Lot includes additional plain black cloth tabs.
Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear, fraying, loose stitching, discoloration, oxidation/tarnish, soiling, and deterioration to some backing materials and paper labels. Hilfspolizei badge has surface wear and oxidation to the reverse pin. Note: This condition statement is provided as a courtesy and reflects an opinion, not a statement of fact.
