WWII Imperial Japanese Army Officer Shin-Gunto sword. Bright blade with clearly visible waved (Midare) temper line. Signed on both sides of the tang (1940). Standard issue decorated Tsuba & Seppa. Decorated Fuchi with cherry blossom & leaf all around and has the "Kikkawa" Family crest. Three Cherry Blossoms Military Menuki, white Ray skin. Olive Drab painted steel scabbard. Blue & Brown Army Tassels. Blade Length: 26" Total Length: 36"
