WWII Nazi German Medal lot to include 1) DRL SPORTS BADGE IN BRONZE. A 1937 pattern, die struck bronze award. The DLRG, Deutschen Lebensrettungsgesellschaft, (German Live Saving Association), was originally established in 1913 as an independent organization of the German Swimming League. The mandate of the DLRG was to instruct the German public in water safety and water related life saving skills and techniques. 3) S.A. SPORTS BADGE IN BRONZE. This die struck tombac badge takes the form of a Roman broad sword superimposed over a mobile swastika encompassed by a circular oak-leaf wreath. Schneider." and "Ludensheid" are also embossed to the reverse, as is the stamped serial number "234347." Its complete pin, soldered hinge and catch assembly are intact. Very scarce maker. 4) NSDAP 1933 NATIONAL PARTY DAY BADGE. Solid, die-struck, tombak construction badge measures 34mm x 53mm. Badge takes the form of a large political eagle with swastika perched over the city of Nürnberg. Badge reads "N.S.D.A.P. REICHSPARTEITAG NÜRNBERG 1933". Pin back device is complete. Unmarked. Very nice crisp details, attractive badge.
