WWII Nazi German Fire Police Helmet Lot to include 1) FEUERSCHUTZPOLIZEI/CIVIL TRANSITIONAL HELMET. The sheet steel construction retains most of its original black paint. The helmet has a single set of seven, "salt & pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 Civil tan leather liner. Size marked 56. Original leather chinstrap is complete. 2) M34 DOUBLE DECAL FEUERSCHUTZPOLIZEI HELMET. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of it original black paint. The left side of the helmet has a silver bordered, black based, police decal with the second pattern, silver, wreathed police eagle as introduced on July 28TH 1936. The right side of the helmet has a party shield decal. Both of the decals have taken on a light yellowish age patina. The helmet has two separate, groups of seven, "salt & pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a repalcement, tan leather liner with all nine fingers. The liner is well marked with a purple size inkstamp, "56".
