WWII NAZI GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE ARTILLERY STOPWATCH
Kriegsmarine Stopwatch or also called a Torpedo / Artillery stoppuhr. These types of stopwatches were mostly used on destroyers and U-Boote to calculate the distance that a torpedo had traveled when it detonated or for the ship artillery time between firing and striking to calculate the distance. This enabled them to adjust the timing of the following torpedoes / grenades. This is a pretty simple implementation, there were models with a turn-around time of 10 sec. and tachymeter with Scala. The watch is in excellent condition and runs for a bit then stops. I am sure a good cleaning will take care of it. On the back he has a Kriegsmarine Eagle M stamp Artl. 5457. Excellent.
