WWII NAZI GERMAN WEHRPASS CAPTURED BY 42nd DIV

WWII Nazi German Heer soldier's wehrpass service book detailing the service of Alfred Schirrmeister, born in 1910, began service in 1927, and his book denotes service through 1945, including qualification with the Karibiner K98 service rifle. In the back there is a stamp from a US Army intelligence censor of the 222nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry division, as well as a few loose papers including a train ticket, and a discharge paper which is typed in English and German and signed by a medical officer with the Irish Guards, a British Army regiment, and Disbandment Control Unit 23. The span of World War II history covered in this wehrpass runs from the beginning of the war through the end and disbandment of the German army through Prisoner of War camps. Condition is excellent.
