USMC WINTER SERVICE UNIFORM WITH USMC 1ST MARINE AMPHIBIOUS CORP, DEFENCE BATTALION SHOULDER FLASH. "Battle Dress" or Vandegrifts jacket is in excellent condition with EGA's and Sergeant Chevrons. Tunic is roughly a size 38 2) USMC WINTER SERVICE UNIFORM GROUPING 1ST MARINE DIVISION. A dark olive drab wool tunic and matching trousers. The four button front closure that leads to a lay down collar. The right arm bears a Private 1st Class (6th Grade) chevron, while the right sleeve bears an 1st Marine Division Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. A ruptured duck for honorable discharge is sewn above the right breast pocket, while a three place ribbon bar representing the Navy Unit Commendation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and Victory Medal is located above the left breast pocket. The breast and large patch pockets to the hips all have scalloped button flaps. The interior of the sleeves are marked "PFC Fred Jacobs", as well as "Quartermaster U.S. Marine Corps 1940-42." The chest measures approximately 38". The matching trousers have a four button French fly with an additional button to the waist, a pair of vertical slash pockets to the hips, a watch fob pocket below the waistband, and six matching wool belt loops to the perimeter of the waistband. The waist measures approximately 30" with a 31" breech. 3) USMC WINTER SERVICE UNIFORM JACKET. A dark olive drab wool tunic in excellent condition.
