WWII US Marine Corps P-41 HBT Herringbone Twill Utility Jacket
A United States Marine Corps P-41 utility coat constructed from sage green herringbone twill (HBT) cotton. The fabric features a distinctive chevron weave throughout. The jacket is designed with a three-patch-pocket front, including a single chest pocket and two larger waist pockets. The front closure and cuffs are secured with copper-finished metal tack buttons. Each button is embossed with the text U. S. MARINE CORPS around a central star. The left chest pocket is marked with a black stencil featuring the letters USMC positioned above the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem. The jacket features simple, non-gusseted sleeve construction and a fold-over collar. The interior does not show any visible labels or contract stamps.
