Established as Bombing Fighter Squadron Six (VBF-6) "Whistling Death" on January 2, 1945. Insignia approved on February 21, 1945. Deployed on the USS Hancock. Flew the Vought F4U-1D Corsair. Pickup is Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 am to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot, or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
