Established as Bombing Fighter Squadron Seventy Four (VBF-74) "Cavaliers" on May 1, 1945. Redesignated Bombing Fighter Squadron Seventy Four (VBF-74) on August 1, 1945. Insignia approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations on October 17, 1945. Deployed on the USS Midway. Flew the Vought F4U-1D/FG-1D Corsair. Pickup is Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 am to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot, or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
