Wall light (5) - Bronze (gilt), Wood - Second half of the 19th century

5 beautiful and rare wooden appliques decorated by hand with heraldic crests (Norman, Vatican, Savoy, etc.) . They were found in the cellar, in medium / good condition. Each of them has a heraldic coat of arms painted by hand on an octagonal wooden panel, always handmade, with 2 bronze sockets in the lower part. I am sure they are handmade, as is the decoration with gold leaf in Florentine technique. From information received, they date back to the mid-1800s. They are fantastic pieces for their model and colours, which have now taken on the patina of time. They are definitely to be checked and probably to be fixed, as some pieces of wood have come unstuck, but the conditions are acceptable considering their age (see photo) .
