Wall sconce (2) - Iron (wrought), 40 x 25 cm approximately Hand-carved wood and gold

Imposing and ancient pair of wall sconces made of hand-carved gilded wood dating back to the 1900s, of refined Italian workmanship of the time and more precisely from Florence with signature on a wrought iron metal plate by Cardelli Aldo.
The precious pair is characterized by the splendid workmanship of the wood bearing refined carved vegetal motifs and embellished with the typical gold decoration of the time.
Of considerable dimensions: maximum height of each wall lamp 38 cm - maximum width of each wall lamp 23. 5cm - maximum depth of each wall lamp 13 cm.
In excellent condition with slight signs of age and use, as can be seen from the numerous detailed photographs which are an integral part of the description.
