"Walt Disney's version of Pinocchio with Pictures to Color" published by Whitman, Racine, WI, copyright 1939 by Walt Disney Production. First Edition published in conjunction with the release of Disney's animated film "Pinocchio" in 1940.

Color illustrated stapled stiff wrappers featuring the Disney version of Pinocchio [a little wear, slightly damaged surface of the back-cover]; 48 pages of text with each page having a line drawing from the movie suitable for coloring. Inside rear cover is an advertisement for "Cocomalt" "malted food drink". Some wear, page # 3/4 has a damage [see photos]; c.6 drawings are hand-colored, a little soiling, very good condition.

"Pinocchio" is a 1940 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. Based on Carlo Collodi's 1883 children's novel "The Adventures of Pinocchio", it is the second Disney animated feature film, after "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937). It is also the third animated film overall produced by an American film studio, after Fleischer Studios' "Gulliver's Travels" (1939).
