"Snow White" by Walt Disney, hand-painted porcelain figurine with two original silver stickers, "Wales / Reg.U.S. pat. Off./ Made in Japan" and "(c) 1960 Walt Disney Productions."
The figurine is 5.1/4" [13.4cm] tall, c. 2" x 1.1/2" [5.1cm x 3.9cm] wide at the bottom, a few glaze imperfections [a few tiny chips?] on the edge of the Snow White's dress collar, both silver stickers show some wear, no cracks, no hairlines, very good condition.
"Wales" is a mark of the The New York Merchandise Co., Inc.(active c.1900s-1970s). The company was specialized on the distribution of the ready-made items from various unnamed manufacturers located in Japan. They specialized on relatively cheap tableware, miniature tea sets and figures, re-selling them under their Wales China brand.
