Walt Disney Studios - 101 Dalmatians (1961)

[ translate ]

101 Dalmatians Horace Badun Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1961). "We're from the gas company," Horace says, gesturing to his briefcase. Jasper hastily cuts in and elbows him. "Electric, electric." This classic Disney film was directed by Woolie Reitherman (1909 – 1985) with Ham Luske (1903 – 1968), and Clyde Geronimi (1901 - 1989). It was the first Disney feature that used Xerography to transfer animation drawings directly onto cels. This beautiful 16 field 3-peghole layout drawing of Horace can be found at about the 28:15 mark after Horace and Jasper introduce themselves to the nanny of the Radcliffe residence. Horace tries to fix his slip up, pointing again at his briefcase and agreeing that they really are from the electric company. The fantastic layout drawing, rendered in graphite, measures about 6'' x 4.75'' and is noted for Production 2110, Sequence 005, and Scene 19. The page has a light crease on the left side, away from the art and minor age-related toning with faint handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
