Alice in Wonderland The Carpenter Original Model Sheet Signed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston (Walt Disney, 1951). This is an incredible model sheet of the Carpenter from the story "The Walrus and the Carpenter" told by Tweedledee and Tweedledum. This masterfully made sheet, done in graphite, includes six full body poses and one bust drawing. The cheerful carpenter is smiling in all of them and has his trusty hammer in three. The poses range from about 3.75'' x 5.5'' to a width and height of 2.75''. The page is signed by two Disney Legend inductees and two of Walt's "Nine Old Men", the incredible Ollie Johnston (1912 – 2008) and Frank Thomas (1912 – 2004). The page has light age-related toning and minor edge and handling wear and a small stain. Very Good condition for this amazing signed model sheet with this hard to find character.
