Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers!" The eponymous chipmunks take center stage in this original production cel from their 1989 Walt Disney Television Animation produced series, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers. Given character designs that strongly resemble Indiana Jones and Thomas Magnum of Magnum P.I., Chip and Dale made the jump to the small screen with their Disney Channel premier on 3/4/1989. One of three new companion shows to the popular DuckTales series, it would round out a programming block later known as "The Disney Afternoon." The pair share a combined image size of approximately 3.5" x 4.25" full-figured and delightfully centered on the 12 field cel, with each character appearing on a separate layer. Each layer includes its own production code found in the top right corner, and the cel has been setup on a print background for display purposes. Typical studio handling and wear are present including fading of the linework with some professional restoration and minor surface debris, overall Good to Very Good condition.
