Fantasia Rare Orchid Original Animation Drawing Nutcracker Suite (Walt Disney, 1940). A beautiful and rare drawing of four Orchids from the "Nutcracker Suite" section of Fantasia, the only Disney film at the time to exceed the two hour mark. The Orchids have been expertly trimmed to figure on black paper. The characters in these scenes were dressed like Russian peasant girls and appeared in a variety of colors. The featured orchids are beautifully rendered in blue, green, and pink and were made in preparation for this incredible section of the film. The figures measure roughly 3.75'' x 3'' on 7.75'' x 10'' black paper. They are labeled 11 on the back with a note of 3.50. There is an official Walt Disney seal is in the lower left corner, forever noting the authenticity of this wonderful piece. The figures and paper have some handling and edge wear with light toning.
