Lady's loyal friend Jock, voiced by the late Bill Thompson (1913 - 1971), helps explain that Darling and Jim Dear are expecting a child in this beautiful 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing. Rendered in graphite, this drawing from the key scene in the film can be found at about the 21:57 mark of the feature film as Jock gently broaches the subject. The scene was supervised by Disney Legend and one of Disney's "Nine Old Men" Ollie Johnston (1912 – 2008), who was the primary animator for this character. The drawing measures about 5.25'' x 7'' with a great expression. The page is noted as 11 in the lower right corner and the lot comes with a Howard Lowery Certificate of Authenticity. Good to Very Good condition overall for this charming character with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and faint stray marks.
