Dodger and the rest of the crew watch Bill Sykes from the rafters, listening intently as they wait for the right moment to strike. Dodger has just crafted his own ingenious plan to rescue Jenny, but he needs everyone's help. The group huddles as he explains their roles, ready to strike. This large 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing can be found at about the 59:17 mark of Oliver and Company, shortly before the crew jumps into action. This beautiful close-up, rendered in graphite with color pencil, features the Jack Russell Terrier with his classic cocky smile, knowing he'll be able to pull the rescue off. The drawing measures roughly 3.5'' x 6.5'' and is noted as 21 old in the lower right. There are a few minor changes in the final version.
