Mickey's Christmas Carol Scrooge McDuck Animation Drawing Sequence of 5 (Walt Disney, 1983). "What a wonderful day!" Scrooge McDuck can barely contain his excitement in this merry sequence of five festive animation drawings from Mickey's Christmas Carol. Putting a distinctively Disney twist on the classic novella by Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol, this short film featured with the re-release of The Rescuers in 1983. These five 16-field drawings show a joyous Scrooge putting on his hat before rushing out, rendered in graphite and blue colored pencil, measuring image sizes from 6.5" x 10.5" to 12" x 11.25", numbered 20, 45, 52, 57, and 75 on the bottom right corner. Seen at the 22:17 mark of the animated production, from a scene animated by the great Glen Keane. Drawing 45 has an animator timing chart. The five drawings present reinforced pegholes and show light handling and edge wear from production. Minor toning is present along the edges. In Very Good condition.
