Walt Disney Studios - Peter Pan (20th Century)

Peter Pan Peter Pan and Michael Model Sheet Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1953). Two fantastic model sheets of Peter Pan and Wendy's youngest brother Michael from the 1953 film Peter Pan. The first sheet is noted as a "temporary rough sheet" and features poses by Milt Kahl (1909 – 1987). The second is simply labeled "Mike". The two are studio copies on photographic paper. In productions like this, a model sheet would be used to help standardize the appearance, poses, and gestures of a character. Model sheets are required when multiple artists are involved in a production to help maintain the continuity of characters from scene to scene. It becomes a comprehensive guide to map out a character's personality, mannerisms, and mindset. These model sheets measure about 14'' x 11''. There is some handling and edge wear as expected from production use including faint creases and light age-related toning. Otherwise, these amazing studio-used model sheets are in Good condition.
