Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing Signed by Ken O' Connor Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Mickey and Minnie debut as the princess and the brave little tailor in these beautiful 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings from Disney's 1938 short Brave Little Tailor. This was one of Mickey's greatest roles and followed the mouse as he tried to defeat a giant terrorizing the kingdom to win Princess Minnie's heart. You can find Minnie at about 1:58 when she jumps to avoid the knight that rushes into the throne room and Mickey at roughly 2:21 when he smiles and winks at the King. They are both rendered in graphite with color pencil and Minnie's drawing has been signed by Ken O'Connor (1908 - 1998), who worked as either an art director or layout artist for almost 100 shorts in his career at Disney. Mickey has a stamp that reads ‘Art props RM14 SC.23A' while Minnie is labeled 17A. The brave little tailor measures about 2.75'' x 4.5'' while the princess measures around 3'' x 4.5''. They are presented in 11'' x 9'' mat windows in 20'' x 18'' frames. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Light age-related toning with minor handling wear. Superficial wrinkles. Very Good condition overall. HID09710052018 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
