Donald's Gold Mine Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1942). Presented in this lot is a fantastic trimmed 13.5'' 5-peghole animation drawing of Donald with an innocent smile as he tries to provoke his donkey Jenny, hoping that she will kick out the coal he accidentally swallowed. She is more than up for the task, annoyed that she's been stuck with him in his long search for gold. This comical moment can be found at about the 1:44 mark of this Dick Lundy-directed short, co-written by the legendary "Good Duck Artist" Carl Barks (1901 – 2000). This fantastic image of Donald is rendered in graphite with color pencil, measuring roughly 4.75'' x 3.25'' and noted as 59 in the lower right. It features a timing chart in the upper right corner.
