Mickey's Service Station Goofy Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1935). "Oh, wise guys, eh?" Pete says, the picture of a devious 1930s villain as he threatens the now panicked crew of the service station. This spectacular trio of 12 field 2-peghole vintage animation drawings can be found at about the 1:49 mark of this historical short as Goofy hurriedly hammers away at Pete's car, nervously looking in the cat's direction. The theatrical short was not only Mickey, Donald, and Goofy's debut together, but also featured animation contributed by Disney Legends Art Babbitt, Wolfgang Reitherman, and Bill Tytla. These full figure drawings are rendered expertly in graphite with color pencil, capturing Goofy's panicked scrambling during this uneasy key moment. Goofy ranges from about 4.25'' x 4.75'' to 3.5'' x 4.5'' in size, the pages labeled 58A, 61, and 65 with two reinforced pegholes. This lot is in Very Good condition with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, faint superficial wrinkles, and light creases along the bottom edge.
