Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Doc and Dopey Rough Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1937). These rough animation drawings rendering graphite on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper are incredible. They come from the 1937 Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The film truly was make or break for Disney and it started the studio's journey to becoming a household name. The drawings feature two of the seven dwarfs, Doc and Dopey. All are very loose and expressive. Doc has a surprised expression in one and a disgusted look in the other, drawn in full body and half body respectively. Dopey is simply surprised and drawn from the shoulders up. The drawings measure about 4'' x 5.75'' and 3'' x 3''. Dopey's measures roughly 2.75'' x 3.5''. Minor age-related toning with some edge and handling wear. This includes superficial wrinkles, small creases, and stray pencil marks.
