Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Snow White Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "When hearts are high, the time will fly, so whistle while you work." Snow White sings as she and the animals help tidy up the dwarfs' cottage. This remarkable 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing features the beautiful Snow White from the 1937 Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This drawing can be found at about 21:06, near the end of the "Whistle While You Work" sequence, as a bluebird lands on Snow White's hand. The bird sings the melody back to her, much to Snow's delight. The drawing is rendered in graphite with color pencil and measures about 5.25'' x 8.75''. The page is labeled 21 in the lower right corner with the initials MD. Marc Davis (1913 - 2000), Disney Legend and one of Walt's "Nine Old Men", was one of the animators on Snow and would have helped to create keyframes for the character. This indicates that this drawing is likely created by him. There is a studio stamp in the lower left noting the drawing is from Production 2001, Sequence 3D, and Scene 18. Minor edge and handling wear with light age-related toning. Faint stains, superficial wrinkles, and two reinforced pegholes. Good condition overall.
