This chilling group of 16 field 5-peghole drawings from Disney's acclaimed feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame features Judge Claude Frollo, often considered to be one of the darkest antagonists in Disney's extensive list. It's easy to see why looking at these stomach-churning close ups. The character was voiced by Tony Jay (1933 - 2006) with animation supervised by Kathy Zielinski. The trio of animation drawings can be found at about 34:14 shortly before Frollo leaves the church. These impressively large images are all rendered in graphite and measure roughly 9.5'' x 10.75''. They are noted as 99, 115, and 127 in the bottom right corner. There are some reinforced pegholes, minor handling and edge wear, and faint superficial wrinkles.
