The Hunchback of Notre Dame Rare Large Booklet of Storyboard Prints Group of 8 (Walt Disney, 1995). We have a wonderful and extensive group of three binders and five packets of rare production storyboard copies from the film – approximately 759 in total! They include copies from Sequence 2, 6 (parts 1, 2 and 3), Sequences 7, 9, 9.5, 11.5, 12, 13.5, 16.5, and 21.6 with some additional sequences that are not labeled. The scenes covered include "Topsy Turvy", Quasimodo's tour of the bell tower, Quasi and Phoebus' partnership and rescue from execution, Quasi mourning Esmerelda, the "battle royale" towards the end of the film, and Quasi's emotional happy ending. The copies include extensive notes about the scenes, and some visual references (photos, character model sheets, and layouts of buildings in the city) included on the pages. Several include studio stamps with the dates created, ranging from 1994 to 1995, and measure 17'' x 11''. Also included are a couple of pages with artist scene assignments, including names like Raul Garcia, Sherilan Weinhart, and James P. Alles who were layout artists and an animator respectively. These beautiful and descriptive storyboards give you an intimate in-depth look at the making of this timeless, charming, and award-winning film. This one-of-a-kind lot exhibits minor edge and handling wear and light toning on some pages. This includes a few small tears and creases.
