[ translate ]

The Hunchback of Notre Dame Rare "Hellfire" Frollo and "Out There" Quasimodo Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1996). "You know I'm so much purer than the common, vulgar, weak, licentious crowd." This fantastic group of two 16-field and one 12-field animation drawing feature the protagonist and antagonist of the praised Disney Renaissance film The Hunchback of Notre, loosely based on the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo. This detailed trio of drawings is skillfully rendered in graphite with color pencil and centered on the page. The drawings of Frollo can be found at about 12:03 as he talks with Quasi Modo on the balcony of Notre Dame and at 48:42 at the beginning of Frollo's highly acclaimed song "Hellfire". Quasi Modo can be found at roughly 14:12 towards the beginning of "Out There" when he's adjusting his wooden figures. These large drawings measure roughly 4.75'' x 9.25'', 12'' x 5'', and 4.5'' x 8.5''. The film mixed traditional and digital animation with no hand-painted production cels. This makes any production art extremely rare. The pages are noted as F-43, Q242, and 61 in the lower right with timing charts on two pages and additional scene labels on Frollo's first drawing. Very Good condition for these gems with minor edge and handling wear and faint superficial wrinkles on one page. HID09710052018 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
