Fine impressionist seascape depicting a blonde woman standing on rockery with waves crashing around her staring into the sea. Brightwell studied under Frank V. Dumond (1865-1951) and was affiliated with the American Watercolor Society, Allied Artists of America, Grand Central Galleries of New York, and an NACAL Navy Combat artist.

Size: Board 14" x 30",Frame 19" x 34"
Signature: Signed "Brightwell" lower right corner, labelled "Windblown" on verso lower left corner.
Condition: Small minor chip to upper center, otherwise overall good condition and presents well, please refer to photographs.
