. Example with water bucket on the left - In an overall very good state of preservation. There are three relatively small patches of retouching / overpainting within the background and the sides of the timber frame of the thatched stable. A small amount of delicate retouching within the pasture beside the far left hand side calf. Cleaned and re-varnished with some surface dirt and slight discolouration now in evidence. There is a small vignette sketch to the reverse of the canvas depicting a standing dog. Second example - In an overall good and original state of preservation. Cleaned and re-varnished. Some light surface dirt and discolouration.
