Nuremberg, dated 1563, probably workshop Sebald Hirsvogel;

Colourless glass or red cover glass, painted, ground out on the back. Glazed, contoured, spotted and washed on the front with black stain, silver-yellow construction on the back. Original leading. Floral border and inscribed ANNO DOMINI 1563. Restored according to the guidelines of the Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi. 28 x 22.5 cm. Mounted in illuminated frame that was developed for glass paintings by the firm HALBE.
