Joseph Beuys. (um 1980). Serigraphie auf ockerfarbenem Zeitungsdruckpapier. 49 x 45 cm (77 x 59 cm). Verso mit zwei Stempeln des "Andy Warhol Art Authentic Board. Inc. Authentic" sowie handschriftlicher Archivnummer "AW.8080". - Das Blatt technikbeding leicht gewellt bzw. teils schwach knickspurig. An den Ecken mit kleineren Papierstauchungen bzw. Einrissen. Verso mit Spuren der Siebdruckfarbe sowie an der unteren Kante u. den unteren Ecken das Papier durch frühere Montierung ausgedünnt. Insgesamt wohl erhalten.

Silkscreen on ochre newsprint paper. (Around 1980) With two stamps of the "Andy Warhol Art Authentic Board. Inc. Authentic" as well as the handwritten archive number "AW.8080" on verso. - Sheet slightly weavy nad partly with sligth crease marks due to the thin paper and the technique. Corners with small buckling of paper occas. short tears. With traces of silcsreen paint on verso and the paper somewhat thinner at the lower edge due to former mounting. Alltogether well preserved. - Provenance: private estate Finland. Purchased at the Bonlow Gallery New York from Jan Eric Löwenadler in the 1990ies. - Probably trial proof for the first state of the silkscreen showing Beuys four times on one sheet and before the version with rayon flock.
