All my thanks for an article which is calculated to sooth the fretfulness of age and to flatter the innocent vanity of a decayed author.”, 2 pages, mailing folds, slight staining, 4to, Buckinghamshire, 5 March 1932; an autograph letter from Theodore Powy, who writes to say "how very much I have enjoyed your life of General George Monck. You might have written this book only to give me pleasure, which it certainly has done.”, signed “Theo”, one page, mailing fold ink slightly faded, 8vo, Dorchester, 29 January 1937; Gospels, Novum Testamentum Accedunt Parallela S. Scripturæ Loca Necnon Vetus Capitulorum Notatio et Canones Eusebil, coloured ownership note (“Richard C.
